The Morpheous RoadPilot is an improved version of the Geodesy with an impressive LCD touch screen display giving you an exact reading of your speed, the speed limit, the distance and direction of the speed trap of safety warning camera. It is also a Mileage Manager enabling you to record your business, commuting and private mileage. You can track every journey you make and download this data to your PC.

The RoadPilot is the first Total Speed Control System being your high-tech co-pilot on every journey. It makes motoring easier and safer - for you, your family, other road users and pedestrians. RoadPilot uses the latest GPS satellite technology to revolutionise road safety, alerting you to the locations of schools so you can take extra care - and warning you of fixed speed camera locations, traditionally sited at accident hotspots. The RoadPilot plus Radar includes an optional radar sensor to provide you warning of mobile and hand-held radar speed traps in addition to the fixed camera.
RoadPilot Functions
1. Satellites
Shows number of satellites being monitored, positions overhead and strength of signal being received for optimum performance.
2. Speedometer
Shows your actual road speed - more accurate than your vehicle's speedometer. Choice of MPH / KPH, and digital / analogue displays. Constantly compares your speed with prevailing limits near speed cameras, schools and collision hotspots.
3. Tracking
Plots the course of all your journeys. Data is stored automatically and can be downloaded to a PC for use with Microsoft 'Map-Point'.
4. GPS
Tells you exactly where you are. Using the best GPS engine that money can buy, to within an accuracy of between 5 and 10 metres.
5. Speed Cameras
Display appears automatically over-riding all others, when approaching a Speed Camera. Shows current speed and distance to a camera - instantly updated as you approach. Cameras on opposite carriageways, or off your route, are shown with a line through the icon.
6. Store Data
Allows you to store your own personal 'alerts' or way points, for your own use.
7. Data Removal
Deletes stored locations and way points.
8. Set-Up
Enables precise adjustment of audio volume, plus the range, speed and heading settings of the Speed Camera monitor. Allows you to adjust radar settings (when you have the option radar sensor).
9. Mileage Manager
Enables you to log business, commuting and private mileage automatically. Data can be downloaded to your PC. Software to provide reports available.
LaserPilot
Now including the LaserPilot as standard for the detection of mobile laser gun and vans. The laser sensor, can be mounted internally on the windscreen (sucker cup) or externally near the number plate (bracket supplied.)
Fitting And Ease Of Use
RoadPilot is very easy to fit. Simply secure it to the windscreen, dashboard or a side window using the special mounting stalk, in the best position for viewing the LCD screen. Then plug the power lead into the car's cigarette lighter socket for power, position the antenna for best reception and you're ready to go! RoadPilot has many user friendly features including:
Heading Sensitivity monitors your direction of travel and ignores speed cameras on opposite carriageways.
Speed Sensitivity monitors your speed and only sets off the full visual and audio alerts if you are travelling above the legal limit.
Awareness Beep gives audio warning that you are entering an area covered by a speed camera.
Auto Ranging when travelling slowly, reduces the level of advanced warning, so that it's time rather than speed based
Plus Radar Kit
With the optional radar kit you will know which Gatso cameras are active and also detect any mobile Gatso cameras.
Updating And Database Information
RoadPilot is delivered with a desktop USB interface (connector) enabling you to access the comprehensive and regularly updated Morpheous database from your PC. Free updates are included for the first 6 months after which the charge is £50 plus VAT a year. If you do not have access to a PC, or are frequently on the move, a dedicated modem is available that dials directly into the Morpheous database. The database is updated twice daily and covers England, Scotland and Wales with the following data:
