Man Caught For The Third Time Stealing From an Under Cover Cop Car

A man in Bristol was caught on film stealing a sat nav from an under cover Police car for the third time in just 4 months.

The 21 year old man, James Milsom, had only been out of prison for 6 weeks for a previous similar offence. He has been sent to prison for another 14 weeks for this most recent offence. He took only 6 seconds to break the window of the car and snatch the sat nav.

The cars are set up to tempt would be thieves with all of the goods inside on display, these include handbags, sat navs, mobile phones and stereos. The police are very with happy with the quality of many of  the pictures they get from the hidden cameras which make it very easy to identify the culprits.
