A drunken German man who attempted to take his driving test while inebriated was directed straight to a police station by his examiner – and promptly arrested.
The man arrived for his test smelling of alcohol at the town of Bendorf, although he denied being drunk when asked by his examiner.
The test got under way but the unfortunate learner found himself directed straight to a nearby Poliziei station, after a spot of ruthless efficiency from the examiner.
The man was found to be three times over the limit. The breathalyser is thought to be the only test the driver completed that day.
"Needless to say, the driving test was at an end," said a police spokesman.
