Labour U-turn on its Pledge to Make Speed Cameras Visible

"A promise to stop using hidden speed cameras to trap motorists was abandoned yesterday. The Government had pledged that speed cameras would be painted bright yellow and positioned so that they could be seen by drivers. But yesterday the Department of Transport back-tracked under threat of legal action from pressure groups."
