Utilising the very latest GPS and laser technology, Snooper have created the S4 Neo, the First GPS Safety Alert System to include built-in laser technology. An industry and World First!
The geographical co-ordinates of all 'Fixed' speed monitoring systems and many officially designated 'Accident Hotspots' have been stored on a database that is constantly monitored and updated by the snooper data collection team ensuring that you are alerted to every potentially hazardous stretch of road and danger spot. Database updates are done through the internet connecting up to a PC with a serial port connection, USB adaptors are available should you require them. When registering the unit you have a choice of subscription packages. Either monthly by Direct Debit receiving 6 months FREE and then paying only £4.95 or otherwise, buy lifetime subs upfront for £99.
The S4 also comes with 360 degree built-in laser as standard that has been designated to detect all types of mobile laser speed monitoring systems. Furthermore the Snooper S4 also has an optional plug-in radar detector unit, the S100, for coverage of mobile radar traps, making the package called the S4-R.
Features include:
Detection of all fixed monitoring systems via the comprehensive database
- Speed Limit at each accident hotspot or speed monitoring system located via GPS
- Genuine 'Easy fit, plug and play' The S4 can be mounted on the inside of the windscreen and powers from the cigarette lighter socket!
Provides advanced warnings of:
- Gatso & Truvelo Safety Cameras
- SPECS Camera Systems
- Laser Guns
- Schools (optional)
Combine the Snooper S4 with the S100 to make the S4-R
This upgrade plugs directly into the side of the S3 getting its power from the main unit and gives you that little extra protection against portable Gatso cameras. However as a downside you will get some false alerts too from other traffic management systems working on the same frequency.
