Snooper S4/S4-R Press Reviews

Here we have collected together for you snippets of what the press, trade and industry experts think of the Snooper S4/S4-R.

Auto Express March 2004 – 4 stars (RECOMMENDED)
We were impressed with the S4 Neo from the moment we got it out of the box thanks to its excellent ergonomics and faux-steel front. It comes with a built-in laser sensor, so there are no trailing wires, and it locates blackspots and schools. The S4 noted our test traps and best of all, offered voice confirmation of the type of trap and speed limit so the driver could keep their eyes on the road. A worthy Recommended buy.

Auto Express, March 30th 2005 - 4 stars
The flagship of Snooper's range got off to a bad start with a very poor windscreen mount that caused the device to develop an irritating wobble.

Thankfully, it was more impressive when in use, with a bright and easy-to-read display and simple controls for setting a host of personal preferences.

The voice warnings - which also gave the speed limit - were good, but a couple of errors during the test saw it drop points.
