Here we have collected together for you snippets of what the press, trade and industry experts think of the Snooper S6-R.
RiDE - August 2003
Huge module obscures all clocks and dials on a sportsbike. Has a number of mounting methods and brackets included. The range can be adjusted between 1m - 1km and it alerted us to radar and laser traps at over a kilometre. (On a bike) Its difficult to see or hear the display but there is an earpiece socket available. Display reads what type of trap and its signal strength. Simple to wire-in. First six months subs are free then it's £4.95 a month - you can download stuff when you like using the built in modem, computer not required. Not waterproof, just one or two false alerts.
Auto Express March 2004 – 2 stars
The plug-in radar/laser sensor was rather lethargic when it came to finding live traps and guns. Although it worked well enough, the numbers and indicators were on the small side and tricky to see. And as with the S4, it comes without any information in its database.
